Bringer of Rainbows by *Hanafae He is Nelchael, my birth angel. Or at least that’s how I imagine him to be, sort of hippie-like, with his hair floating in the wind. As you might have guessed, rainbows are one of his symbols. I reverted to a 100% digital technique. The last two drawings I did left me a bit disappointed, so I thought I should drop the pencils and paper altogether this time around. I would like to dedicate this one to PhuiJL, because he is her angel too, and because a while back she told me I should put a rainbow into one of my drawings someday :) Nelchael is your angel too if you were born between July 2 and 6 inclusive.

Tell Me Where… by *Hanafae Inspired by the scene at the end of the Fire Sanctuary, when Ghirahim is all excited that there’s a second Gate of Time (and it fills his heart with rainbows ^^) and asks Link to reveal the location to him in exchange for not giving him any punishment.Ghirahim’s expression didn’t turn out as threatening as I wanted it to, but I’m still happy with the drawing as a whole. And yes, I purposely put the Gate of Time drawing lower on the wall than it is in the game, for obvious framing reasons ;) Lineart/inspiration : [link]Work in progress : [link]

WIP, scanned the lineart into the computer and started coloring it. How soon I finish it will depend on how much free time I get this week ;)

I wanted to do things differently. Instead of using a rough sketch as a basis for my drawing, I wanted to do a lineart on paper as clean as possible so that I could use it as is and color it in Photoshop. I had trouble with the perspective on Ghirahim’s arm. I ended up having to make myself a paper sleeve with diamond cutouts in it and take a picture of it in order to see what the angle is! XD It’s still not perfect but it’s the best I could do. I will probably start coloring it today.
